Nawab Firuz Khan
1659 - 1672 Nawab Firuz Khan, Nawab of Malerkotla. b. at Fort Kotla, 1616,
eldest son of Saif ul-Mulk,
Nawab Muhammad Bayazid Khan Bahadur, Asadu'llah Jang,
Nawab of Malerkotla, by his first wife, educ. privately. Succeeded on the
death of his father, 1659. Received a number of additional jagirs from the
Emperor, in recognition of his services against the Rohillas. He d. 1672,
having had issue, two sons:
1) Nawab Sher Muhammad
Khan, Nawab of Malerkotla .
2) Khwaja Khizar Muhammad
Khan. He was k. in battle against the Sikhs, at Ropar.
